Savandurga is also called as 'Savinadurga' or the Fort of Death, because of the steep incline and defense structure.Savandurga has two temples at the base. Veerabhadreshwara Swamy and Narasimha Swamy temples situated at the foothill. By Discovering natire,you discover yourself.

Makalidurga Betta is popular destination for trekkers and nature lovers who all looking for a day trip or short gateway from Bengaluru go ahead. 

 

Location : Makalidurga Betta is located in Doddaballapura taluk Bengaluru rural district. The distance by Bengaluru to Makalidurga is around 62 Km.

Trekking Can be taken as both ether a Fashion or Passion.

Trekking Is nothing but a Marathon on which you need to move without thinking about the consequences or results.

 

The makalidurga trek is 3.8 Km long one-way it takes about 2.5 hours to reach the view point.

Avalabetta Hilltop Trekking (Chikkaballapura) - Tremendous Trekkers

Avalabetta – Avalabetta is 90 Km from the heart of  Bangalore, It is located in the Chikkaballapura district of Karnataka,it is one of the trekking destination near Bengaluru with  less crowded. Avalabetta  is upcoming and the alternate destination compared to the Nandi Hills. Less commercialized  and  impressive cliff make it worth visiting. Avalabetta is home to the Avalabetta Lakshmi Narasimhas Swamy Temple.The Narasimha Swamy Temple is a rock temple in the fort that dates back to the chola dynasty. It is older than the fort itself.

Avalabetta is a simple, scenic, and enjoyable place to visit.

I strongly recommend you to reach the base of the hilltop as early as possible (by 7- 8 AM) in order to avoid the harsh sun rays. Please carry ample water, food, hats, and sunshade. Also, avoid wearing tight clothes as it will make things worse for you.

Coming to a famous selfie point, yes it is fenced as shown in the above picture, however, someone has broken one of the iron rods and hence you can sneak in and then enjoy the point. Again, I strongly recommend you to reach this point as early as possible to avoid crowds and security guards.

Sneaking to the famous selfie point is for sure your decision and use your judgment and make wise decisions as per the situation.
